When I was a new believer, Father planted one unforgettable thought in my heart:
" Wouldn't actually knowing God intimately be the ultimate thing in life? "
That question became my life's pursuit. For decades I studied, prayed, heard His voice, and served as a pastor, teacher, bestselling author, and speaker. Yet deep inside, I knew there had to be more.
Then everything changed.
Just as Jesus appeared to Ananias in Acts 9:10-15, He called me away to spend time alone with Him. For the next ten years, He patiently taught me from His Word what I had been missing about truly knowing the Father and living in daily conversation with Him.
Those simple biblical truths transformed my prayer life, my relationship with God, and every part of my life. Since then, I've had the privilege of sharing what Jesus taught me with thousands of believers around the world.
